In 1999 Nordson first delivered, together with two Dutch partner companies, a complete new pretreatment & application department to a company in South Africa.

This highly productive boiler enameling plant has a typical output of 120 boilers of 150 litres per hour, thanks to the use of 4+4 powder enamel lances, a Siemens S7 PLC, automatic product recognition and multi-axis controlled centering devices.

This plant was furthermore equipped with :

• Online shotblaster
• Power + free conveyor system
• Automatic transfer device

Since this first installation we have gone on to install a number of other systems in Europe.
